We're already up to Round 6 of the FIA GT Championship - with the Spa 24 Hours, then just the two German and two Iberian races to come.

This one is crucial, if Lister Storm Racing are to begin the fight back. If Larbre have refettled their Viper after Le Mans and can somehow drag 100 kg around the heat of the Hungaroring with some success, it could be almost done and dusted, as Listers aren't tackling the 24 hour race. But if Campbell-Walter and Coronel can show their customary pace and bring the car home, and Larbre meet problems in Belgium, it could be all wide open with four to go.

The current points table sees the Larbre drivers 19 points ahead of JC-W (42-23), and Larbre (the team) 17 ahead of Listers. The success that Larbre have had makes the Vipers' lack of success at Le Mans all the more remarkable. Look for JC-W and Tom Coronel to dominate this weekend. The heat and the 100 kg could well see Bouchut and Belloc struggle in qualifying and the race.

We're as sure as we can be that the Rafanelli 550s won't be present this time, but Prodrive have been testing their new gearbox and could cause an upset. The Wieth Ferrari has also been developed somewhat since Magny Cours.

N-GT sees the JMB Ferrari pair only four points behind Luca Riccitelli (30-26), the nearest other Porsche drivers being Dieter Quester (not present here) on 22 and Moccia and Babini, on 19. RWS lead JMB by just three points.

In effect, both classes look like a two horse race at the moment.
