For now though, the news that Jonathan Rowland and Ashley Ward are racing in Round 7 of the Privilege GT Championship this weekend, in the Tech 9 Porsche 911 GT2 (the ex-Cirtek car, second in the photograph), just adds to the debate.<BR> <BR> It was announced yesterday that the 911 GT2s that could be / are racing in the Privilege Championship have been given a restrictor boost for the balance of this season. All air-cooled 993 type 911GT2s have been granted larger engine restrictors as part of the on-going work by the championship's Working Panel.<BR> <BR> "There are plenty of these cars around, and this is a call for more of them to come out," reckoned Calum Lockie. The restrictor move - or is there another reason? - seems to be paying off already regarding the Rowland / Ward Porsche.
