PRIVILEGE INSURANCE BRITISH GT CHAMPIONSHIP |
13/11/2000 |
Curtis Hayles Racing |
C/o Chamberlain Motorsport |
|
Curtis Hayles Racing will compete with a Chrysler Viper in each of the GT and GTO categories of the Privilege Insurance British GT Championship, the cars to be run by Chamberlain Motorsport. This marks an end to both the HKM and Parr facets of the team that ran the two Vipers for Mrs Elisabeth Rose in the second half of 1999 and throughout 2000.
The driver line-up will be headed by Tim Harvey and Rob Wilson in the GT car, with Curtis Hayles continuing in the GTO car alongside a yet to be named partner. These three will also race together at Le Mans, in the GTO Viper. Chamberlain are former C2 winners at Le Mans and have coaxed every Viper they have entered there to the finishing line of the 24 Hours.
Curtis Hayles and Elisabeth Rose – his mum – are the joint team principals of Curtis Hayles Racing, which will make its debut in the first round of the 2001 PowerTour season at Silverstone on 1 April. |
