Patricia explains that, "the reason behind the non-participation of the Rafanelli Ferraris at Budapest is because they were asked by the FIA following the last GT commission to change their doors. <BR> <BR> "The rules say that only parts coming from the wing section definition (see Art. 251.2.5.7) may be modified to make enlargements to accommodate larger wheels (article 257.3.6.4 & 258.3.6.2), trying to keep as much as possible the original shape of the bodywork. This means that the shape of the bonnet and doors must remain original.
