Big ELMS Plans |

Roger Walters has confirmed that his Corvettes will have nothing to do with the ISC in future - as he announces grand plans for the ELMS.
The man is "furious" with the ISC organisers. "I was bullied into buying a Corvette that we can't race (the Motorola Cup car). We're £200 000 out of pocket because of that, and we've also lost a major sponsor. We're £500 000 on the wrong side, thanks to the ISC."
Setbacks like this won't stop him launching an ELMS programme - and then some - for the balance of this year and into 2002.
"The GTS cars will arrive some time in August - in full works colours. I can now announce that Ron Fellows will be driving one of them, when his Pratt & Miller commitments allow. We'll be starting off at Estoril next month with the GT3 (Trinkler) Corvette."
The whole 2001 programme, as confirmed by Roger Walters, is as follows:
Estoril ELMS
Donington Privilege GT
Most ELMS
Mid-Ohio ALMS
Vallelunga ELMS
Nurburgring FIA GT
Brands Hatch Privilege GT
Petit Le Mans ALMS
Charlotte ALMS
Malaysia
Daytona Testing
The race team was featured this morning on breakfast TV in the UK - the Big Breakfast - alongside the Atomic Kitten pop group. A very slick presentation, apparently. ISC number panels were noticeable by their absence.
