Least Time In The Pits At Le Mans |
|
|
Auto-Hebdo are reporting that the Freisinger Porsche #77 spent the least time in the pits during the 24 Hours, with only 30'00" stationary, ahead the #83 Seikel Porsche with 30'50".
David Legangneux expresses surprise at the Seikel car's time, because "I saw the #83 stopped for a long time in the pit-lane for a repair. I've taken several photos of this pit-stop."
We'll try and check these figures in due course. We have, and dispute at least the #83's time. We calculate it to have been stopped for 48 minutes 18 seconds, including a 16 minute plus stop at 05.00 for a new radiator.
The two Joest Audis are third and fourth, with 32'28" for the #1 and 39'52" for the #2. It's no coincidence that #77 and #1 were class / race winners / runners-up.
