Steve O'Rourke's EMKA Racing McLaren will be at Goodwood this weekend for the Festival of Speed. It should appear in its 1998 Le Mans colour scheme (seen at Pre-Qualifying that year, above).
How memory plays tricks - the Editor had it in his confused head that it was this car that set the record for the shortest time in the pits in a modern 24 Hours, but Charles Rickett provides the reminder that it was another GTC entered McLaren, the #41 car in 1997. According to the Le Mans Annual, #41 (Raphanel / Gounon / Olofsson) was stationary for 32 minutes and 32 seconds.
Despite misleading information from elsewhere, I calculate that the shortest time spent in the pits this year was the 32 minutes 29 seconds by the winning Audi, so that looks like your GTC record gone Charles - by three seconds. Please correct me if I am wrong - anyone. Check the addition here link.
Tim Sugden has been putting a few miles on the EMKA McLaren at Snetterton. Paddock gossip suggests that, on two year old Pirellis, Sugden was down to a 1:03.6 within six laps, on the wrong gearing and the wrong set-up. His best ever lap at Snett. in this car was a 1:01.8.
