Prodrive Ferrari |
To Petit Le Mans |

With clear indications that Prodrive will take their 550 Maranello to the Petit Le Mans, the standing of that event continues to increase.
Prodrive were welcomed into the FIA GT Championship as late starters, but it looks as though they'll miss the end of the FIA GT season too - unless a second car is used in Atlanta.
Stephane Ratel's plan for 2001 was to secure a rock solid entry at each event, with local guest cars joining in, but even the standing of the current GT Championship can't ensure a completely guranteed entry of 30+ cars. The Rafanelli Ferraris missed the Hungary round last weekend, while the Spa 24 Hours won't have a completely representative FIA GT entry.
Every series seems to have to share its runners according to other events and forces outside the each series' control. |
