Joins Brookspeed At Estoril |
In a last-minute deal yesterday evening (Wednesday 11 July), following an announcement on TotalMotorSport yesterday morning of a third seat available, and after lengthy negotiations with Tim Arnold and Martin Braybrook, Bobby Verdon-Roe will join Portuguese drivers Tiego Montiero and Andre Couto in Brookspeed's ex-ORECA Viper at this weekend's 1000 km ELMS round at Estoril.
"We're very pleased to have Bobby on board - thanks to TotalMotorSport - and our objective at Estoril is to finish; we can't match the two Saleens on sheer pace but, in a six hour race, (to quote a Murrayism) 'Anything can happen, and usually does'", explained Tim Arnold. "We're hopeful of a podium finish, but a class win and a guaranteed Le Mans entry would be good!"
Brookspeed hope to return to the Privilege series at Donington next weekend and again the driver line-up is not yet finalised. Any interested parties can contact Tim Arnold on 07941 891972 or email him using this link.
