Adam Wilcox |
Off To Japan |

Adam Wilcox was about to start making a name for himself in the UK - until, that is, the ISC disappeared from under his feet. The photograph shows him in the Brookspeed Viper at the only ISC event ever to take place, and he impressed the Brookspeed squad mightily that weekend - in Qualifying abd with a superb opening stint. It was almost a debut GT victory, until the Viper was pipped by the Lister of James Pickford at the last corner.
Now, he's off to Japan. He's been invited back by Porsche team Nine Ten Racing after driving with them at the recent 'All Stars' race at Sepang in Malaysia.
He will again drive a Porsche 911 GT3-R, but this time in the Suzuka 1000km endurance race. "This has worked out perfectly for me," said Wilcox. "I am going to Japan on 23 July anyway to hold discussions with teams with regards to running in the Japanese GT Championship next year, and with the fall of the ISC Championship I have very little to achieve by staying in England. I would like to thank TGM Resource of Burntwood who have once again stood by me and made this possible."
Brookspeed still hope to retain Adam Wilcox in their Viper squad, once they have re-grouped following the demise of the ISC.
