Shock News |
Barff Out |

This could just be the chink in the Rollcentre armour that Parr Motorsport have been waiting for. The news certainly came as an unfortunate Friday 13th shock to Rob Barff, who will lose his seat in the Rollcentre Tuscan R - with effect from about 2018. Barff was 'stunned', but feels that there is no need for immediate panic, as the youngster is far from race ready yet.
"We liked the look of this new kid and thought we'd like to give a newcomer an opportunity to really go for it!" said Martin Short. "Whilst we know that experience is essential, we feel that this kid's natural talents may well be an advantage. We feel sorry for Rob, but hey, as they say, that's Motor Racing. Rob's been a good lad, but his time will be up when the kid arrives on the scene and subsequently signs contracts."
All being well, Martin and Michelle Short will be unveiling the newcomer on or around December 21. He (or she) is expected to initially display the same follicly-challenged livery as Dad, but it is hoped that he (or she) will then develop a full head of hair.
Likely names being mentioned for the youngster include Tuscan, or Tuscanny if it's a girl. Which is actually quite a nice name, isn't it?
It wasn't all late nights building the new Tuscan R, then? Congratulations you two.
