Paul Slinger was reluctant to mention the plight of Chris Maries on Saturday, because the news was very sketchy and unconfirmed. However, Chris did have a heart attack at the track, after first qualifying. The good news from Graham Nash at NCK is that "Chris is much better now after a night in hospital. As of Sunday, he was sitting up in a chair winding up the nurses. He should make a full recovery and will be out of hospital in around a week."<BR> <BR> Graham sends his thoughts to Chris for a quick recovery, and thanks all of his friends for their concern.
