Getting Over It |
|
It was a highly eventful Round 9 Donington Park, but generally for all the wrong reasons. Paul Slinger was reluctant to mention the plight of Chris Maries on Saturday, because the news was very sketchy and unconfirmed. However, Chris did have a heart attack at the track, after first qualifying. The good news from Graham Nash at NCK is that "Chris is much better now after a night in hospital. As of Sunday, he was sitting up in a chair winding up the nurses. He should make a full recovery and will be out of hospital in around a week."
Graham sends his thoughts to Chris for a quick recovery, and thanks all of his friends for their concern. TotalMotorSport readers will also be relieved that there's one driver on the mend.
