"We've finally done it, we have sold our first car to Kevin Doran," explains a jubilant Max Crawford.
"The plan is to have the car finished by the end of September, and to embark on a thorough test program for the rest of the year, before next year's race season. The car will be fitted with a Judd V10."
Lienhard is expected to race the car in the Grand-Am, plus selected ALMS races.
Work is in progress on the second chassis, and Crawford is expected to be at Watkins Glen to discuss the project with other likely buyers. Dyson Racing is not expected to be among them though. Rob Dyson hasn't yet received value for money from his Riley & Scotts! One of the current cars is expected to be sold, with a new chassis being built up to replace it. |
