Jon Field Offends The Authorities |
A $5 000 fine |
|
Grand Am has imposed a $5,000 fine and a two-race suspension on Jon Field for a driving violation at the Trois-Rivieres Grand Prix. Field apparently rocketed from 7th on the grid at the start, looking to repeat his NASA-like launch at Lime Rock, but this time he wound up banging into two other cars.
'The fine and suspension will be held in abeyance pending successful and incident-free participation in the next two Grand Am events contested by Mr. Field,' says the GA web site. Watkins Glen will be considered as one event. |
