Murry At The Glen |
A 'new' seat at Watkins Glen |

David Murry and Lucas Luhr are temporarily switching from their regular ALMS GT3R seats to drive for Kelly Moss Racing at The Glen.
David Murry explains that, "Kelly Moss has been absent from professional competition since 1994 when they won World Challenge with Price Cobb (not to mention the Porsche World Cup in the process). The have been concentrating on business and also running their customers in PCA events. I can tell you that they have been very busy with that. Kelly Moss has decided that it's time again to showcase their expertise. Since I have been working with them for a number of years they wanted to compete in a race that I could be a part of and since the Glen is not a conflict and it's such a great race track, that is the event we will enter."
"Kelly Moss has been running these GT3Rs all season in PCA events and developed shocks for the GT3R that I drive in ALMS, so they are not new to this new era at all."
Rick Polk will share the 6 Hour drive with the two professionals. "I feel that we have as strong a chance as anyone entered to win the race. Let's hope I am right," concludes Murry. "As far as where this is leading for next year, this is one event this year and we are concentrating on it 100%. We will worry about later after this event."
Murry and Luhr will be in opposition again at Texas Motor Speedway less than a week after the Summerfest. The Kelly Moss car should provide an interesting comparison with their regular mounts. |
