That is not the case. TOCA rules do allow a driver to be excluded from one of the pair of races at each meeting, but in this case, Egg Sport have chosen to sit him on the sidelines for both - to be replaced by Andy Priaulx.<BR> <BR> The team's statement explains that, "in the interests of the Egg Sport team and the championship, Phil Bennett will miss the whole meeting, but will be back in the driving seat for Silverstone with the full support of Egg Sport and Triple Eight."<BR> <BR> Phil Bennett states on the BTCC Forum: "Following a meeting with 888 on Monday they have now pulled me from the car altogether for Oulton and replaced me with Andy Priaulx." <BR> </FONT></TD></TR> </TABLE><BR> </CENTER> <BR><CENTER><font size="1" color="#808080" face="Tahoma">Copyright ©2000-©2023 TotalMotorSport</font></CENTER> </td> </tr> </table> </body>
