Stephen Stokoe moved up to a Cirtek 911 GT2 at Donington Park last month, finishing fourth in class, sixth overall, in the Privilege GT Championship race in the Cirtek prepared car, partnering team boss Rob Schirle.
Now he's going international, making his foreign debut in this weekend's ELMS race at Vallelunga - in the same car.
"I guess the boss thought I did a good enough job in Donington so he has given me this chance," said Stokoe.
"I think he needs a shot in an International race category," explained Rob Schirle. "It'a an ex-Roock GTS car and we have a lot of power from the motor. I am keen to see how he'll get on at a level I consider higher than the British Series, where he has competed over the last two seasons."
"The GTS Porsche is still a competetive car in it's own right, so we'll see," said Stokoe, before heading off to Italy. His partner is BTCC commentator and GT driver Charlie Cox. Their opposition is a pair of Saleens.
