He and Andy de la Touche pulled in to the Laguna Seca Raceway on Tuesday after a 3,000-mile drive from New York - hauling the Gulf Audi R8 and all the team's equipment.<BR> <BR> Meanwhile the rest of the team left London - and spent 20 hours getting to San Francisco after technical troubles grounded their 747 at Glasgow Airport.<BR> <BR> "It's been an interesting drive," explained Dane Leekham. "There's been so much to take in in just five days. The countryside changes every 100 miles - it's something we'll be able to digest in about six months I reckon."<BR> <BR> De la Touche added: "At least we felt a bit closer to home when we came down by San Francisco as Rustington is apparently twinned with Los Gatos in California."<BR> <BR> A more unlikely twinning is difficult to imagine. Rustington is a sleepy little town near Littlehampton, on England's south coast.
