Nurburgring Entry News |
Three 'new' entries |
|
|
Three 'new' entries since the last round at Donington Park should liven up the Nurburgring race on September 17. Kremer are back with their modified Lola, Thomas Bscher makes a welcome return to the series with his BMW, while the Doran / Lista team return to Europe (now that the Grand-Am season is over) with their Doran Lista Special.
The Kremer Lola B98/K2000 will have Ralf Kelleners at the wheel, with his team mate expected to be announced shortly.
Norman Simon seems to be the chosen one. Quite a pair, Kelleners and Simon.
Thomas Bscher will be partnered by Geoff Lees, who drove the car at Le Mans. Michael Cane's GTC will again be running the car.
Didier Theys and Fredy Leinhard are in the Ferrari-Judd. It will be fascinating to compare the performance of this car with that of the standard Ferraris that regularly race in the series.
The Conrero R&S will also be back. Damage caused by the fire at Donington wasn't as bad as first thought.
Latest News; Konrad will be there too, but whether it is with Coronel or Lammers has not been decided yet. |
