The torque curve showed over 300 lb / ft at idle (!), with 800 bhp from 4500 rpm onwards. As Nigel Barrett said, "Once you've driven one of these, what else is there?"<BR> <BR> He was down in eighth in Qualifying after a spin at the Melbourne Hairpin. Team-mate Richard Dodkins was fastest of the regulars, but he was second fastest, behind the Chris Randall Spice. John Burton was third in a Chevron B26, Paul Whight fourth in the Aston Martin AMR1.
