Is this photograph (from Knockhill) significant in the longer term? Or a temporary blip?
Whatever, Terry Pudwell was understandably delighted with Nigel Greensall's effort at Silverstone this evening (and with his Stealth), where the man who was supposed to drive an ISC Lister this year set provisional pole in the first Qualifying session - by nearly eight tenths from the Lister of Joran / Warnock. "We'll have two cars out next year," said Pudwell this evening, "and we'll have Nigel in one of them."
There could be a scrutineering issue to come, but as this is written, the Stealth B6 is on pole. Well done all concerned.
Perhaps it's a good job Laurence Pearce is in Spain.....
Addendum: There was a scrutineering issue, over the height of the venturi on the Stealth. Nigel Greensall's first session time was removed from the timesheet, but he went out and took pole in the second session at 21.30, with a 1:20.498.
