First race Saturday September 29 - Lausitzring
Klaus Abbelen, being the pole winner, chose to start at the 'inner corner' position, but Grimm in his 911 GT2 took the lead into the first corner. Abbelen was determined to win the race and the Championship, so it became a big battle with Grimm up to the finish line. The lead position changed several times but finally it was Abbelen to pass the finish line first. Because Cook finished sixth due to gearbox problems, Abbelen was 1 point ahead in the classification before the final race of the season - on Sunday.
Andersson received full points in Class B because Buurman made a braking mistake in the first corner after the start. He took Martin with him. B rugman remained in the leading position from start to finish in Class C. De Wit and Pauels had a big dice for second place which ended in favour of De Wit.
The top three drivers in Class C had only 1 point difference between them at the start of the last race of the year.

Second race Sunday September 30
It was Grimm also this time taking the lead, but Snel and later Abbelen took over. Abbelen and Grimm fought for first place and Snel and Probst for third place.Van der Zwaan with the Viper, starting from the back, sliced through the field to second place. Oil spillage caused a safety car situation which lasted 4 laps. Grimm spun off the oily track which made the way clear for Abbelen to take race victory before Van der Zwaan and Probst, which also made the latter the Class winner for the year 2001.
Andersson could stay ahead from Buurman, until Buurman passed him on the last lap which made him race winner and made Andersson Class B winner for the year.
In Class C it was the same order as in the previous race which made Brugman Class C winner for the year.
