Michael tries Bi turbo for size |

Supersports 2000 champion, Michael Mallock, has recently tested the Porsche 996 Bi-turbo of GL-PK Racing at Zolder, Belgium. The 19 year old was impressed with the car. “I believe the test went well and I think I was able to give them some useful feedback. The car is a hybrid really. It has the 550bhp Porsche GT2 3.8litre engine shoehorned into the newer 996 chassis, and the combination obviously works".
Team Manager Jorge Segers was pleased to give Mallock the opportunity. "Michael made a good impression. He hadn't ever driven a racing Porsche and he never came to Zolder before, so he had a lot to learn. We could see that he had a lot of experience for his age. He raced in FIA Sportscars and British GT this year, so learning a new circuit was commonplace, but we would welcome him to drive with GL-PK anytime".
Michael is scheduled to test the again in a few weeks with a view to driving the car next year.
