In the short term, DAMS will cease running in the SRWC; their next race will be the Petit Le Mans, where they'll join the factory cars. That will allow time for engine developments to come on stream which should release an extra 25 to 30 bhp.
After that, everything is being looked at for 2001 and beyond. Maybe a new chassis, maybe a big V12 non-turbo engine for 2002. It's been a frustrating first step for the Cadillacs, which have lacked reliability and speed. But they look and sound superb. |
