When television audiences in the USA tune in to telecasts of American Le Mans Series races this year, Britain's Amanda
Stretton will be one of the faces they see and voices they hear amidst the roar of sports car racing engines.
Stretton will be doing pit reporting and features on five ALMS telecasts by the SPEED Channel (formerly Speedvision), including the season-opening 50th anniversary Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, presented by Dodge, on March 16.
Stretton is familiar to fans of the American Le Mans Series for her work as a pit reporter last year on the ALMS Radio Web. She has been a popular figure on Britain's Channel 4 for several years, working as a presenter on motorsports telecasts, and has also presented on Eurosport, the Travel Channel and Silverstone TV. In addition, she is an active racer, competing in England's ASCAR Mintex Cup.
