Since then, the team has completed a satisfactory test at Thruxton and made some small but significant changes to the Petronas-backed works Proton Impians. Leslie said: "Brands was a great start for us and I'm happy that the problems that sidelined me then have been addressed. I'm looking forward to leaning on the car at Oulton."<BR> <BR> The Thruxton test with its fast open corners was the first opportunity for the team to evaluate the high-speed handling of the car - and Leslie was impressed. He said: "The car has very good high-speed stability which gives the driver confidence - and the car is quick in a straight line as we know from early season times. This car is proving to be a strong all-round package."<BR> <BR> Since the test the team has made some minor changes to the car, including a new master cylinder specification to improve brake balance control and a revised gearchange linkage.
