We lost it in the pits |
Explains Mike Hezemans |

After evaluating all the data the Dutch Carsport Holland - Racing Box team discovered, what they already expected, that they lost the opening race of the season in the pit. Mike Hezemans: "Our pitstops were about 23 seconds (including in- and outlap) slower than the pitstops of the Lister racing team, that is where we lost out. Although we were the best of the rest as far as the pitstops were concerned we definitely need to improve."
The next round in the championship will be hosted at the Silverstone track on may 4th (early evening).
That weekend will be extremely busy for the team. Straight after the FIA GT race the team will fly to Le Mans, where the next morning the testday/pre-qualifying session will be held for the 70th edition of the famous French race (15 & 16 june). With two of its Vipers already in Silverstone the team will bring their spare (third) car to Le Mans. Three drivers will be present at Le Mans; Mike Hezemans, Anthony Kumpen and Luca Cappellari. The final decision about the Le Mans driver line up will be made at a later stage. "After a year away from Le Mans I am happy to go back. I love the track and it is one of my favourite races", reports Mike Hezemans.
