The TVR Tuscan R made its debut there last year and without some of the success ballast we’ve been forced to carry in recent rounds, the car will run 10kg lighter than it did at Knockhill.” <BR> <BR> The challenging 2.127 mile circuit in Darlington, North Yorkshire is a GT favourite as it throws a little bit of everything into the usual British GT mix of driver changeovers and pit stop strategy. <BR> <BR> Although the notoriously tricky Sunny In-Out complex demands absolute technical perfection, the careful driver can shave fractions of a second from his lap time in qualifying and snatch back chunks of time in the race over less than careful rivals. While the high speed section from Tower allows the car to stretch its legs, many a daring overtaking manoeuvre has been launched in the final corner due to its very slow speed.<BR> <BR> “Croft is an interesting circuit to drive as it requires inch perfect placement followed by bursts of high speed,” Pullan comments. “If the weather is good there should be a good crowd but whatever the sky plans to throw at us, I’m sure it will be a fantastic race.”<BR> <BR> </FONT></TD></TR> </TABLE><BR> </CENTER> <BR><CENTER><font size="1" color="#808080" face="Tahoma">Copyright ©2000-©2023 TotalMotorSport</font></CENTER> </td> </tr> </table> </body>
