Olmstead, Ohio's Michael Galati and Phoenix's Mike Fitzgerald topped the SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT and Touring Car charts in practice today for Sunday's Round Four races at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.<BR> <BR> Driving the No. 1 Champion Audi S4 Competition, Galati turned a fast lap of 1:35.360 (85.243 mph) around the 2.258-mile circuit in the first of two sessions. Jeff McMillin topped the second session, and was second fast on the day in his BMW M3 with a lap of 1:35.493 (85.124 mph). Randy Pobst, Johannes van Overbeek and Peter Cunningham completed the top five.<BR> <BR> Fitzgerald topped both SPEED Touring Car sessions in the No. 81 Team FBR/Trans Sport Lexus IS 300, cutting his fastest lap in the first session, with a 1:40.188 (81.135 mph). Will Turner's BMW 325i was second fastest on the day, with a lap of 1:41.173 (80.345 mph), almost a full second off first place.
