Daytona Prototype On Display At DAYTONA USA
During the Grand American Champions Weekend presented by Brumos Porsche between October 31st & November 2nd, the Daytona Prototypes, the new premier class of the Rolex Sports Car Series, will be at high-speed navigating the twists and turns of Daytona International Speedway's historic 3.56-mile road course.
But before the racing begins inside the historic facility, sports car enthusiasts can get an up close look at one of the new sleek and stylish Daytona Prototypes, the Toyota-powered FABCAR Daytona Prototype inside DAYTONA USA, the official attraction of NASCAR.
The Toyota-powered FABCAR Daytona Prototype, which is on display for a limited time inside the lobby of DAYTONA USA, hasn't been purchased or raced by a team yet. It's the fourth FABCAR Daytona Prototype produced and the second to carry a Toyota engine. FABCAR is a chassis manufacturer.
When Daytona Prototypes made their race debut earlier this year in the Rolex 24 At Daytona, there were only six Daytona Prototypes on the starting grid. The class has quickly grown and when the Rolex Sports Car Series final goes green on Saturday, November 1st at 1 p.m., there could be as many as 10 Daytona Prototypes battling for a victory. |
