The Hump |
Le Mans Won’t Have It Much Longer |

“We are going to soften it following the FIA guidelines, and alter the second part of the Indianapolis Corner,” explained Claude Thibaud, the man charged with maintenance of the Le Mans circuit. Marc Laffeas’ photograph shows the Armco barriers coming down on Monday of this week, with the work due to be completed by March 31. It seems that the hump itself will be lowered, with material being added to the surface before and after the highest point to make a more level surface.
It isn’t yet clear what is planned for the second part of the Indianapolis Corner – which presumably means the left hander before Arnage. |
