GM Celebrate Corvette Success |
Three GTS Titles In A Row |

GM Racing’s Corvette programme is celebrating this week as it took its third consecutive GTS-class team championship title in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS).
Gary Pratt of Pratt & Miller, GM’s appointed race team for the programme, is delighted with the achievement. ”Taking the GTS-class manufacturer and team titles again this year makes it a triple win for the C5-R programme. We’re especially ecstatic at winning the GTS-class this year given the challenges presented by the Prodrive Ferrari – it was exciting racing throughout the year. To be celebrating these championships, along with the second consecutive driver championship, is a remarkable success that everyone at Pratt & Miller can share in, and we’re really proud of our achievement on behalf of GM Racing. It hasn’t been easy, but the entire Corvette team has an incredible focus on winning every time we go out on track.“
Pratt & Miller has contributed to the highly successful General Motors GTS Corvette programme since 1999, gaining a debut third place on the podium in the Rolex Daytona 24 Hours. Running the Corvettes for the past three years in the GTS class of the ALMS, the Pratt & Miller-constructed cars also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2001 and 2002, and took second and third podium positions this year.
Pratt & Miller has been appointed by GM Racing to supply development and design services for the programme, along with car build and trackside race crew.
