VX Racing offered me the chance to defend my title with them next year, which is very important to me. I look forward to racing under the new rules, but we have plenty of work to do in winter testing before then”.<BR> <BR> James Thompson, who began his BTCC career in 1994 as the youngest BTCC driver, aged 19, will be aiming to recapture the crown he won in 2002 and lost to Muller this year. He said, “It’s good to be continuing with Vauxhall for another season.
