These awards are chosen by Autosport’s readers so there is a natural inclination for an F1 driver to be at the head of a poll like this, even though the smaller Scot is perhaps a more worthy candidate after such a phenomenal year in the Audi R8. He’s a champion (in waiting) too.<BR> <BR> Audi themselves did receive an award though, for technical excellence, chosen by a panel of judges from Autosport magazine.
