The cars will be built to ETCC specification by SEAT Sport in Barcelona and undergo a series of pre-season tests in Spain. Once the hi-tech race-prepared SEAT touring cars arrive in Britain, SEAT Sport UK and RML will work together to fine-tune and develop the Toledo Cupra for the very specific demands of the BTCC. <BR> <BR> SEAT Sport UK will also continue to concentrate on running 20 Leon Cupra R racing cars in the 2004 SEAT Cupra Championship – which will race at selected rounds of the BTCC/TOCA Tour.<BR> <BR> Grant Clearwater, Joint Team Principal of SEAT Sport UK, said: “This year promises to be very exciting for SEAT Sport UK, with the SEAT Cupra Championship entering its second year and joining the TOCA Tour, and with two cars in the British Touring Car Championship.”<BR> <BR> Ray Mallock said: “We are absolutely delighted to be part of the SEAT Sport UK team at the start of this exciting new project.
