The Swede’s team – thought to have split from Jim Matthews who might be going Trans-Am racing – could run one car in the ELMS and at Le Mans, while Champion could be set to run a second customer car in the ALMS.<BR> <BR> The Lloyd-Audi connection seems to have been fuelled by the fact that 2000 Johansson-Matthews team manager John Wickham has joined Richard Lloyd – to manage the Bentley Le Mans project. Wickham looked after the Audi R8Cs in 1999, so he should be fairly familiar with the EXP Speed 8.<BR> <BR> The situation seems to leave Johansson looking for the financial support to run an R8 in Europe.
