The team will be in its second full ALMS season. <BR> <BR> Robin Liddell of Scotland, who has led PK Sport's GT racing efforts since the team began international racing in 2001, returns as lead driver for the 2004 season, Pickup said. In addition, Pickup announced that American driver Peter Boss of Narangansett, R.I., would run the full ALMS season with the Porsche team. <BR> <BR> For the 12-hour endurance racing classic at Sebring International Raceway Mar. 17-20, Liddell will steer the team's No.60 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR joined by Boss and Hugh Plumb of Chadds Ford, Pa. The No.61 entry will be shared by Alex Caffi of Monaco, David Warnock of England and American driver Tracy Kohn of Metarie, La. <BR> <BR> "I'm delighted with the combination of drivers in each car," said Pickup. "To have Robin leading one car and Alex in the other is perfect for us." <BR> <BR> The team's maiden year racing in Europe ended with Liddell and Mike Youles taking GT honours in the European Le Mans Series, while 2001 also included a first appearance in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The team made its Sebring debut in 2002, finishing a highly competitive third in the GT class, and headed to America full time in 2003 to contest the whole of the American Le Mans Series. The highlight of that campaign was a podium place at Miami's Grand Prix Americas, which was followed by another at last November's Le Mans 1000 Km, a result which ensured a guaranteed entry at Le Mans in June of this year. <BR> <BR> Caffi, who raced in Formula One from 1986 through 1992, raced the full ALMS season in 1999 and has run selected events each year since then, joining the PK Sport team last year. Plumb and Warnock also are veterans of the GT class of the ALMS, while Kohn is a graduate of the Panoz GT Pro Series. <BR> <BR> Boss has a long-standing connection with Sebring, North America's oldest and most prestigious sports car race. His grandfather, Russ Boss, was the official starter of the inaugural event in 1952, then raced in the 12 Hours from 1953 to 1959, scoring a best result of fifth in 1957, partnering Walt Hansgen in a D-Type. Two years later he finished 15th, co-driving with Stirling Moss, Lake Underwood and Briggs Cunningham in a Lister Jaguar. <BR> <BR> "Peter Boss comes to us from Euro F3000," said Pickup.
