It will be driven by the Swede Rickard Rydell, one the most successful drivers in touring car racing.<BR> <BR> "I am looking forward to our future co-operation," says Rickard Rydell. "This year will be a big challenge and I am absolutely convinced that SEAT can be very competitive."<BR> <BR> Rickard, who raced for Volvo last year, will drive one of the three cars entered by SEAT. The car he will race is a SEAT Toledo Cupra prepared by the competent staff at SEAT Sport in Spain. His team-mates will be Jordi Gene and Frank Diefenbacher, who raced last season in the ETCC with SEAT.<BR> <BR> The participation of Rickard Rydell in the SEAT team has been made possible through the support by SEAT Sweden.<BR> <BR> "The professionalism in motorsport, the match to the SEAT brand and the possibilities it gives us to get our customers closer to the sporty side of SEAT, convinced us to support Rickard Rydell in ETCC", comments Vratislav Strasil, the managing director of SEAT Sweden.<BR> <BR> The ETCC season starts on March 28 on the Monza track in Italy followed by nine more races in Spain (Valencia), France (Magny-Cours), Germany (Hockenheim), Czech Republic (Brno), UK (Donington Park), Belgium (Spa), Italy (Imola), Germany (Oschersleben) and United Arab Emirates (Dubai) which ends the season on October 8.<BR> <BR> </FONT></TD></TR> </TABLE><BR> </CENTER> <BR><CENTER><font size="1" color="#808080" face="Tahoma">Copyright ©2000-©2023 TotalMotorSport</font></CENTER> </td> </tr> </table> </body>
