Observers noted that the car is “beautiful, marvellous”: remember this is the first time the locals have seen it, and the return of Bentley to La Sarthe is a very big story.<BR> <BR> This chassis can be referred to as the ‘laboratory’ car, and it is likely to change markedly around the front when it is superseded by the actual race chassis. The current engine is definitely an atmospheric, not turbocharged, unit, a “Bentley engine” smiled James Weaver knowingly.
