In addition, she will serve as a pace car driver for sanctioning body IMSA and will also conduct pace car rides for sponsor representatives at the events. <BR> <BR> A racing driver since 1986 in both sports car racing and rally competition, Mayer works as a professional driving instructor and automotive consultant for major automotive manufacturers. The first female driving instructor for the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, she is also a member of the Official Pace Car Team for the Champ Car World Series.
