Silverstone would have been a popular and logical choice after the success of the May event this year, but Donington will create an atmosphere all its own, and the Craner Curves will be very interesting for any newcomers to the circuit. It’s a fantastic, swooping, diving circuit.<BR> <BR> “Donington have some superb facilities on offer and I’m sure they will put on a great show for everyone,” commented Don Panoz.<BR> <BR> This is one of the events that is optional for ALMS contenders, so it is to be hoped that the date for the Le Mans Test Day (May 6) is long enough after Donington to encourage American (and other) Le Mans entrants to run in Derbyshire first.<BR> <BR> The Privilege Championship has an event at Donington on the Sunday (April 15) as part of the PowerTour programme, so with the ELMS cars Qualifying on Good Friday, this will be an action packed Easter meeting from the word go.
