Randy Pobst was second fastest in practice, while teammate Michael Galati was third.<BR> <BR> After raining most of the morning, the sun came out just as the SPEED GT cars took the track for afternoon practice. And, as the track continued to dry out, the lap times got quicker. With nearly two minutes remaining in the session, Culver set a fast practice lap of 0:55.065 (100.027 mph) in his No. 14 First Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.<BR> <BR> “The car was exceptional in just about every turn and the ones that count like the downhill,” Culver said describing his car’s performance. “I was surprised that the track had as much grip as it did, given how much rain we had.”<BR> <BR> Piloting his No. 1 Audi Certified Pre-Owned Audi RS 6, defending SPEED GT Champion Pobst turned the second fastest lap of the day in the afternoon session with a 0:55.221 (99.744 mph).<BR> <BR> Galati, driving the No. 2 Audi Certified Pre-Owned Audi RS 6, had the third quickest combined time for both practices sessions.
