Pierre Kleinubing and Matt Plumb completed the top three.<BR> <BR> Despite driving in semi-wet track conditions, as the result of rain earlier in the day, Cunningham still piloted his No. 4 Nissan/NISMO/TeamRTR Nissan Sentra to fast lap time of 0:59.842 (92.042 mph). Cunningham’s fast lap was below the existing qualifying (1:01.137, 90.092 mph) and race lap record (1:01.887, 89.001). The afternoon practice session was halted early due to oil on the track at the entrance to pit lane from the No. 16 machine of Phil Parlato.<BR> <BR> “I think I was pretty fortunate to have a clean and dry lap,” Cunningham said of his run. “Turn two was pretty wet the whole session. And, that time in turn two [when he set his fastest lap], it was hooked in and I was able to go through there at speed and the rest of the lap was real good. I’m sure if it would have gone back to green everybody would have been below a minute. But, I think in the dry, everybody will be a good bit below a minute.”<BR> <BR> Kleinubing, who was fastest in the morning practice session, turned the second fastest lap of the day in the afternoon session with a 1:00.169 (91.542 mph). Driving the No. 42 A-SPEC/RealTime Racing Acura TSX, Kleinubing is the three-time defending race winner at Lime Rock.<BR> <BR> The 2003 SPEED Touring Car Rookie of the Year Matt Plumb was third fastest on the day, setting a lap time of 1:00.262 (91.400 mph) in his No. 43 RealTime Racing/SANZ/MicroSystems Acura TSX.<BR> <BR> Justin Marks and defending SPEED Touring Car Champion Bill Auberlen completed the top five in their BMWs.<BR> <BR> 1,(4), Peter Cunningham, W.
