VX Racing Drivers Make A Pit Stop At The Motor Show
Current British Touring Car Champion, Yvan Muller, and his VX Racing team mates, James Thompson and Luke Hines will make a scheduled stop at The Sunday Times Motor Show, NEC, Birmingham, on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 June. The Vauxhall works team drivers are taking time out of their busy schedule to meet fans and sign autographs at the Vauxhall stand in Hall 9.
Former BTCC champion, Thompson, more accustomed to racing around a track at over 100mph, is looking forward to the show, “I love going to the motor show, it’s not only a great opportunity for us to meet fans, it allows us to take VX Racing to those people who would not necessarily come to a touring car race. It’s also good to be involved in other Vauxhall activities, such as the launch of the new VXR brand – an extension of VX Racing to a new range of sporty road cars. The Vauxhall stand is fantastic and there will be lots going on, it’s definitely worth a visit.”
The motor show is a firm favourite with the British public, known for their fascination with all things motoring. Where better to experience the epitome of British cars and motorsport, and meet champions racing drivers than at the interactive Vauxhall stand?
Thompson and Muller are currently level on points at the top of the BTCC drivers’ championship in a closely fought battle for supremacy. VX Racing returns to on-track action for rounds 13, 14 and 15 of the British Touring Car Championship at Mondello Park on 12 and 13 June.
