Audi will have a slightly shorter wheelbase at 2600mm, but the TT will otherwise be the same. It will therefore lose its precise, petite TT proportions, but all with the purpose of equalising the field aerodynamically. Mechanical elements were as equal as possible in the first year of the new competition.<BR> <BR> Other changes for 2001 include a fixed number of tyres (nine sets) for each race meeting, three having to be returned after testing, a control ECU from Bosch and two engines for the season.
