Matt Plumb and Brazil’s Pierre Kleinubing completed the top three.<BR> <BR> Driving the No. 27 LectricAir/Tecmark Corporation BMW 325Ci out of Walter Swick’s nearby Tecmark Autosport shop (Mentor), Jonsson ran a fastest lap of 1:34.831 (85.718 mph) around the 2.258-mile circuit in the second session, the only completely dry portion of the day.<BR> <BR> “The car is really good and the guys have done an awesome job to prep the cars to come here from Lime Rock,” Jonsson said remarking on his fast practice session. “Unfortunately, I missed the test day yesterday, so we only had like one and a half sessions under dry conditions. My engineer has done a great job setting up the car. We are still fine tuning it a bit. We’ve got to change a few things for qualifying tomorrow and hopefully find a few more tenths. And, hopefully I will get a chance to get my first pole in this series.”<BR> <BR> Driving the No. 42 A-Spec/RealTime Racing Acura TSX, Kleinubing was the first driver officially in the 1:35 range, but it was teammate Plumb, in the RealTime Racing/SANZ/Sun Microsystem entry that edged him for second place with a 1:35.325 (85.274 mph).
