With rear wheel drive cars allowed in both the Production and Touring classes, there’s the prospect of BMW M3s running in the P class, and the Toyota Lexus IS200 running in both classes.
Edenbridge Racing will enter the Production Class with a pair of BMWs, while ABG Motorsport are planning to cope with the demand to run a Touring class entry or entries and Production class car(s) for a number of interested drivers.
The Lexus has already been seen on this site, while the Edenbridge BMWs will be familiar to those keeping up to date with the Macau Guia event in mid November – which BMW won. Edenbridge’s cars are being prepared by Team Rafanelli, with engines by Carly Motorsport from Holland.
BMW drivers have yet to be decided, while the only known Lexus driver is Kurt Luby, a man coincidentally with abundant BMW experience in the past.
Front wheel drive contenders will include the Astra Coupes, Peugeot 406 Coupes, Alfa Romeos and the Team Dynamics Nissan, while Peugeot 306s will also run in the Production class.
