“I am certain that our race slogan “New Year, Top Gear, Party Here,” will live up to its name for all concerned,” said Don Panoz of the approaching Adelaide race.
Audi are getting in the mood with their crocodile-liveried R8, while Panoz Motor Sport have confirmed that they’ll have an all Aussie / Kiwi line-up as David Brabham moves across to the #12 car, sharing with fellow Australian Jason Bright and New Zealander Greg Murphy.
Klaus Graf will now partner Jan Magnussen in the LMP07, with Johnny O’Connell and Hiroki Katoh in their regular car.
David Brabham is perhaps looking for a finish with the Roadster ‘S’ (and the win of course), while the LMP07 is so early into its development.
Allan McNish is seen getting into the Australian mood as he helps unveil the Crocodile. At least, we think it’s McNish. He actually looks like a Scot with a baggy suit and a funny hat.
