Gunter Steinbach at Kremer Racing has clarified the Kremer K9 news that the carbon-tubbed car is in the process of being built up at their workshop, and is expected to be ready for testing towards the end of the 2001 season. "It's in the middle of the workshop," said Gunter, "but we have several other projects to keep us busy."
One of those is the completion of the rebuild of the Kenwood Porsche 962, which will be available for sale shortly. Kremer also have a Porsche 996 GT3RS sitting at Weissach, ready for Daytona early next year. With the Lola having already been tested with a development Roush engine, it is indeed busy in that corner of Germany.
The Kremer 996 GT3RS could be one of the few new RS Porsches at Daytona, and drives in that car should be very popular.
