Risi 333 SP At Daytona |
The Last One |
|
|
Chassis #37, the last of the line, is currently en route to Daytona, for Risi Competizione’s use in the 39th Rolex 24.
It is co-owned by collector Phil Bennett from New York, who says that, “this is a unique opportunity to have this car campaigned by the best team currently preparing the 333 SP. The fact that these talented drivers are competing in this year’s Rolex 24 Hours will give the car a history which is appropriate for the last version of the 333 SP.”
The car’s value will presumably go through the roof if it wins the 24 hours. With Ralf Kelleners, Allan McNish and Eric van de Poele driving, that is a real possibility. David Brabham could yet be added to the line-up; that will depend on the testing program with the Panoz LMP07.
It isn’t expected to be the only Ferrari in the race, but you can guarantee it will be the fastest. It won’t be at the Test Days though. Risi Competizione will test at Texas later in the month.
